Outstanding sofa, model DS-164 produced by Swiss De Sede Group.

Though hinting at a clear 80s postmodernist line, this sofa was designed later in the early 2000s yet bearing with it the non-plus ultra of comfort, look and innovation.

As shown in the photos, the two independent backrests can freely adjust all along the edge of the sofa thanks to the genius hand-push mechanism, a sophisticated feature that enables this seating for many different uses e.g. day bed, chaise lounge etc as well as different layouts. A simple hand push can slide the backrest in both directions, fixing it into position anywhere one or the other is left.

All cushions, seat and back, are generously filled with medium soft foam and comfortable beyond imagination. As one would expect from a De Sede product, the leather quality goes without saying.
